We strive for quality in everything we do. Sometimes mistakes happen, but our goal is your satisfaction.
We stand behind our work and warrant the quality of our installations. In some cases customer expectations for the product exceed the reality of the process or products, or the fit on your vehicle is not what you expected. In many cases we are limited by the pre-designed patterns and kits we use to cut the films, which also prevents us from cutting film on your car! We cannot change these designs so there is some tolerance in this area.
3M Prints temporary logos on all window film products for "Authenticity". We make an effort to remove them at the time of installation, but sometimes they get missed or they we cannot access the area while the film is curing. They can be removed with a liberal amount of Rubbing Alcohol (like you find in your first aid kit or bathroom) and a paper towel - wet the towel, rub in circles for 10 seconds, the logo will disappear. You are always welcome to stop back at the shop and we can remove them.
Sometimes customers change their mind after the fact or simply don't like their decision to buy the product. We stand behind our work but cannot be responsible financially for unrealistic expectations or buyers remorse. We will always make a reasonable effort to remedy the problem, and in any business that is customary. Beyond that we cannot do much in those rare cases, any other warranty is specifically limited to quality and performance of the product itself as determined by the manufacturer. Damage to the film at any time by the user, vehicle operation, 3rd party, dealership or vehicle defect is not covered by any warranty, unless the customer purchased the additional damage warranty.
There are no refunds, credits or exchanges for services provided. We will provide high quality products and installations, make remedy as needed. Payment is required at the time of service on retail customers, wholesale accounts and dealerships must adhere to Agreed Terms.
Sun & Shade only provides warranty service for our own customers - proof of service is required. Warranty is subject to our inspection of the proposed defect before any corrective action is taken, no refunds will be given if the customer removes the product we install.
Sometimes immediately after installation an edge or corner will peel or roll due to adhesion, weather, car wash pressure, etc. Every customer wants the visible edge of the film to perfectly correspond with the edge of the window or body. Sometimes an edge that is that tight will peel or roll. In this instance, we must be notified of this problem within 5 days of installation and we will either re-adhere, trim the edge to prevent further peel/roll or replace the film on that area at our discretion.
All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of service or receipt.
